Richmond First Voters Society accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS

On August 22nd, at 8pm, City Councillors Bill McNulty and Derek Dang, as well as the proprietor of Richmond Night Market, Mr. Raymond Cheung, accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. They drenched themselves with an ice bucket at the Night Market site and immediately after, they issued a challenge to City Councillor Linda McPhail, Richmond First Candidates Andy Hobbs and Elsa Wong to show their support to find a cure for ALS and to educate the public on the devastation of this disease. Richmond First wants to encourage others to act and participate in such a meaningful charitable event.

Every Councillor and Candidate donated $100 per person towards ALS research.
